Family of Five Seeking Experienced Nanny

Ideal Candidate will:

- Have 5+ years experience working with children ages 4 – 13
- Excel at creating order from chaos in playful way
- Enjoy being active, outdoors, music, and crafts
- Easily break into song and dance (skills not required)
- Be a strong swimmer and have or be willing to get a lifeguard certification
- Be a protected driver with an excellent record and your own vehicle
- Love to travel, be comfortable on planes of all sizes, and enjoy spontaneity
- Be able to maintain order and organization in a busy home environment, and help kids to maintain order and tidy after themselves
- Have backup plans ready for kid activities when family plans shift
- Work well with other team members who work in the home

About our family:

- We are five big personalities
- Parents often work from home
- Kids are 4, 9, and 11
- Kids are independent and extremely articulate
- Kids are wildly creative, love to perform, swim, draw, sing, dance, decorate, bake
- Kids work hard to get their first choice at all times, need a caretaker who can lovingly and playfully hold boundaries and create structure
- We enjoy hosting playdates and will at times have friends over; this role will include keeping a watchful eye over elementary school playdates and a 4 year old simultaneously
- Must have considerable experience with caretaking of age 4, this includes some help toileting,



maintaining nap and nutrition schedules, playfully getting in to seasonal gear
- Must have your own accommodation in Toronto, accommodation or housing allowance will be provided when we are away from Toronto

Extra consideration will be given to candidates who:

- Have experience coaching children in theatre, improv, performance
- Have a teaching or ECE accreditation
- Have experience working with children in a private home
- Are able to teach musical skill like piano, guitar, singing, song writing, choreography, karaoke
- Speak more than one language they can share with the children
- Can help with household management tasks like maintaining lists of items needed, light shopping, light food prep, tidying

Full time over summer/ 30 hours during school season
Compensation Commensurate with Experience
*must be fully vaccinated and willing to immunize as required for travel and Ontario updates

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
