Responsibilities
Produce plans and documents required by project managers and representatives.
Develop installation drawings based on consultant or client plans, following Solotech standards.
Create single‑line drawings, block diagrams, equipment cabinet elevations, patch details, cable numbering, custom parts, and element placement in 2D and occasionally 3D.
Collaborate closely with project managers to understand client needs.
Prepare manufacturing plans, specifications, and production guidelines for custom items.
Ensure drawings meet Solotech and industry standards and requirements.
Manage administrative tasks related to draft plans.
Recommend best practices for plan creation.

Qualifications
A college diploma in architectural, industrial, or related design, or equivalent experience.




2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Solid knowledge of electronics and a variety of audio and video wiring.
Experience in the audiovisual industry is an asset.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or newer.
Knowledge of other CAD software such as Vectorworks, Solidworks, or Revit is a plus.
Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work within deadlines and manage pressure.
Attention to detail, diplomacy, and organization.
Robust relational, interpersonal, and client‑facing skills.
Adaptability, teamwork, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
Bilingual in French and English.
