Axiom Builders is looking for a passionate, relationship-focused and experienced Superintendent to lead the construction of a multi-family wood-frame project in the inner city of Calgary. The ideal Superintendent has experience with wood-frame construction, managing sub-trades effectively, a track record of protected and on-time projects and is someone that others follow to your next site. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with Project Manager and regularly communicate updates such as field reports, safety inspections,



staffing requirements and schedule updates; Overseesubcontractor performance with regards to safety and scope of work; Ensure sufficient staffing is provided to achieve safety, schedule and quality objectives ; Identify and advise of design deficiencies, schedule interruptions or difficulties, and other project issues; Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, site instructions and change notices to ensure scopes, terms and conditions are properly executed; Supervise anddirect trades and labourers through regular instruction, communication feedback; SupportCSO and head office in ensuring all employees, subcontractors and contractors are adhering to the safety policies; Work inpartnership with Head Office and communicate effectively with all departments and provides reports as requested. Skills & Experience At least five (5)+ years of experience as an assistant or superintendent for a general contractor on wood-frame multi-family projects; Excellent record of leading a project from pre-construction to completion; Experience with infrastructure, roadworks or bridges will be considered an asset; Abilityto build relationships with not only the field staff, but also clients and other external stakeholders; Abilityand proven experience to lead and motivate site crew of various sizes and scopes; Proven success in influencing a culture of positivity, ownership and reliability on site. The base salary (hourly wage) range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000, adjusted for experience, plus a competitive bonus program.
