As a full time Cook, working 30 hours a week, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks in a vibrant center. Your role includes maintaining cleanliness, supporting kitchen operations, and sometimes assisting in classrooms. Your work will ensure that children receive safe and enjoyable meals, supporting their overall development in a nurturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare morning snacks and mid-day meals for children
• Ensure compliance with Canada's Food Guide in meal preparation
• Clean kitchen and dishes regularly throughout the day




• Manage grocery orders and maintain center supplies
• Occasionally assist in classrooms or laundry duties
Requirements:
• Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations preferred
• Strong understanding of secure food handling practices
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Valid First Aid certification and police check necessary
• Capable of lifting and standing for extended periods
