Reporting to the Deputy City Planner- Development, the Zoning Coordinator reviews development applications and offers guidance on zoning, by-laws, and site plans. Your expertise in zoning interpretation and your robust communication skills will ensure effective public engagement and support local development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide zoning information and by-law interpretation to stakeholders
• Review development proposals for zoning compliance
• Represent the Planning Department at various committees




• Author zoning compliance letters and amendments
• Assist in pre-consultation services for development inquiries
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering or Planning
• Over three years of zoning by-law experience
• Proficiency in Windows and CAD software
• Robust analytical and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s License for offsite travel
