Enhance the lives of youth at Turning Point as a Youth Worker in the Youth Justice Program. This Full time position involves direct care and engagement in an on-site setting.
In your role, you will work closely with adolescents facing challenges and provide supportive supervision within a therapeutic workplace. Your ability to build solid relationships will be critical in delivering programs designed to empower youth toward positive change. Participate actively in team meetings and strive for an inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish therapeutic relationships through role modeling
• Ensure quality oversight of agency finances and assets
• Reconcile client medications prior to supervisor approval
• Assist families and external professionals as needed
• Complete administrative duties in a timely manner
Requirements:
• University degree in Social Work or related field
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Valid UMAB certification
• Completion of mandatory training sessions
