What You'll Do
Manage pricing for clients and prospects, offering spot rates and general quotes
Negotiate rates and tariffs with vendors to ensure competitive pricing
Update internal systems like CargoWise and the CRM with client and rate information
Respond promptly to customer rate requests in line with company guidelines
Collaborate with Business Development and Customer Service teams to identify new prospects and expand existing client relationships
Stay up-to-date with market trends to influence pricing strategies that align with company goals
Support financial decision-making by analyzing performance data and contributing to pricing strategies at both macro and micro levels
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in the freight or logistics industry
Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (an asset)
Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (an asset)Solid communication skills, both written and spoken
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors
Knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles
Hands-on, analytical, and cooperative approach to business development and project management
