Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Head Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

We will be providing accommodation to success candidate. You will have your own room in a multi person house.

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position involves handling cash transactions, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring timely service during busy hours.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash register operations, including cashiering and cash handling with accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours




- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling food items and maintaining inventory levels
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations related to food service and handling

Experience

- 5 years previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is required
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Touch bistro POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service and Team leadership skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and staff.
- Communication skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
