Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Professional Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and safety while enhancing their appearance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks with care and professionalism.

Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs and other pets according to client specifications
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly
- Assess each pet’s coat condition and determine appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Handle pets gently and confidently to ensure their safety and reduce stress during grooming procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and operational flow




- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier animals to ensure safety for both pets and staff

Qualifications

- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when necessary, demonstrating physical strength and stamina
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
