Full Time Permanent Truck/Forklift driver Position Available Immediately

$25.00 to $27.00/hour + overtime

Maple Leaf Masonry Supply is looking for an experienced, reliable, licensed truck driver with a

DZ license to operate a tri-axle truck with a rear mounted forklift. You will be responsible to deliver brick, stone and landscape products to various jobsites in the Greater Sudbury area.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect vehicle and all equipment for mechanical and safety issues and perform regular preventative maintenance; complete daily logs and reports
- Report damage, missing materials, accidents or violations
- Check fuel tanks and gas meter
- Fuel equipment and replenish windshield fluid
- Make sure you have positive visibility thru windows
- Sweep off deck of delivery truck – keep debris off
- Wear personal protective equipment: safety shoes must be worn at all times. Safety vest is to be worn at all times upon deliveries on the jobsites, in the warehouses or out in the yard.
- Verify delivery instructions; plan routes and meeting delivery or pick up schedules and drive according to weather conditions




- Familiarize yourself with the jobsite and surrounding conditions
- Verify product with packing slip prior loading and ensure that all the order is complete
- Strap loaded material securely on truck, ready for delivery; handle products and materials with caution and care
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, load restrictions) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Have the customer or contractor sign the paperwork and you sign off also including the date of delivery
- Occasional lifting

Job requirements

- Fluent English is required/Bilingual would be an asset
- Experience would be preferable
