Cashiers & Line Cooks – Temporary (Event)

About Our Client

Our client is a featured food booth at an event starting on August 5th until August 9th. They need 5 Cashiers & Line Cooks to make sure everything runs smoothly. For this position you will need your Food Handlers Certification & a “can-do”, friendly attitude. You MUST be able to work on August 5th to August 9th – there are no other shifts currently scheduled.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Cashier & Line Cook:

● Take orders for food from customers.

● Prep food for beginning of the event.

● Use fryers and other equipment to cook.

● Use secure food handling techniques.

● Prepare food for orders quick enough to avoid a line.

● Operate a POS for cash/card.

● Clear the lines in a timely but friendly manner

● Other duties as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Cashier & Line Cook:

● You must have your Food Handlers Safety Certification.

● Must be able to work on all the dates mentioned above.

● Must be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

● Must have a minimum of 1 year experience.

● Must be presentable with a good attitude – you are customer facing!

In Return, You Will Receive:

· $20.00 per hour

· Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

The Shift You Will be Working is:

· August 5th to August 9th (inclusive)





· 4:00pm (8 hour shift – must be flexible if this changes)
