We are seeking a Carpenter, who enjoys working outside, has strong a work ethic, good teamwork skills and leadership experience.

Carpenter Responsibilities:

- Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems
- Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
- Repairing and renovating wooden structures
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Inside finishing
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding hardware
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Carpenter Requirements:

- Operate a variety of hand and power tools of all types: hammer, drills, chainsaws, skill saws, jack jammer * Install of windows & doors, roof trusses, sheathing, hardware,
- Erect scaffolding and ladders working at heights training a requirement
- Ability to work independently




- Experience working in a physical environment. Must be able to lift 80lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and motivation
- Good problem solving and decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and delegation skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license, as well as transportation to work.
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 2 years of experience required

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday minimum of 40 hours per week
