Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Geomatics Engineering Technologist - Junior with a strong focus on drafting to join our team. This role primarily involves the preparation of legal survey drawings, including subdivisions, Real Property Reports (RPRs), easements, and related documents. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of survey principles, legal land descriptions, and drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and draft legal survey plans, including:
- Subdivision plans
- Real Property Reports (RPRs)
- Easement and right-of-way plans
- Condominium plans and related documents
- Interpret field survey data, legal descriptions, and title information
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable municipal, provincial, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with survey crews, project managers, and professional land surveyors
- Review and revise drawings based on internal and external feedback
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Assist with project timelines and deliverables as required

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology or a related field




- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroSurvey, or similar)
- Solid understanding of legal land survey principles and documentation
- Experience with subdivision and RPR drafting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of local and provincial regulations is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
