Overview

We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented Carpentry Team Member to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial construction, with the ability to perform a variety of carpentry and renovation tasks while working collaboratively with crew members and project leaders. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to safely operate tools and equipment in a fast-paced construction environment.

Duties

- Assist with daily construction and renovation activities while following project plans and safety procedures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications as required.
- Install and construct framing, siding, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and other building components.
- Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup activities.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, machinery, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with drywall installation, finishing, flooring installation, and general carpentry tasks.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project requirements.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to company quality standards.
- Report any safety concerns, material shortages, or project issues to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes.





Requirements

- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction, carpentry, or a related trade is preferred.
- Knowledge of framing, drywall, siding, roofing, flooring, trim work, and general construction practices.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are considered an asset.
- Solid communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Relevant trade certifications, working-at-heights training, or other construction-related certifications are considered assets but are not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
