As we expand our global team, we are looking for an IT Assistant to join our remote team in Vancouver.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy IT Assistant to provide first-level technical support to our employees and support our daily IT operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations across our organization. This is a fully remote position open to candidates in Vancouver, BC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support

- Provide first-level technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printer issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Set up and manage user accounts, including access controls and permissions
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of business applications and operating systems

Systems & Network Administration

- Monitor and maintain IT equipment and inventory
- Assist with network administration tasks,



including user access and security
- Support the IT team with system upgrades, patches, and backups
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures and systems

User Training & Support

- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT systems and best practices
- Create and maintain user guides and support documentation
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures

WHAT YOU BRING

- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Previous experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
