As a Cook, you will report to the Culinary Manager and focus on providing high-quality meals for residents, guests, and employees. Your responsibilities include executing menus, ensuring proper food handling, and preparing therapeutic diets. You'll also conduct daily temperature audits, comply with safety regulations, and actively participate in special meal days.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver meals for residents and guests
• Follow menus and production sheets accurately
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols




• Perform temperature audits for food storage areas
• Collaborate in planning special occasion meals
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food prep in healthcare preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic diet preparation essential
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
