Injection Molding Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator (Part‑time) to join our plastic injection molding operations. The operator works under the guidance of our machine technicians to operate machines, assist with mold changes, inspect product quality, and troubleshoot basic issues. The operator ensures the efficient production of high‑quality parts and supports the injection team in achieving production goals. This role requires an individual who thrives in an setting of continuous improvement and problem‑solving. Teamwork and adaptability will be critical to success.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operate injection molding machines following SOPs.




Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced efficiently and at the required quality level.
Assist with mold changeover using the correct tools and follow procedures for mold set‑up.
Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications.
Perform trimming, finishing, and labeling as required.
Mix material and colorant according to specifications.
Regrind excess material and reuse as needed and as directed.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks on machines.
Identify and resolve easy machine issues, escalating more complex problems to the technicians.
Follow all safety protocols and keep the workspace clean and hazard‑free.
Assist others as necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing.
Ability to learn procedures.
Knowledge of how to measure using metrology tools.
Ability to use basic computer tools.
Knowledge of operating lifting equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for an 8‑hour shift.
Rigorous and well‑coordinated at work.
