What we offer
Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD 25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non-Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Sudbury South location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals
Classify and establish the type of non-ferrous material
Properly weigh and track the material
Do general maintenance of the premises
Ensure the equipment in good condition
Data entry into the in-house receiving software
Provide excellent customer service
Help with torch cutting if necessary
Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications

To join our team:
Experience in operating a forklift
Experience in metal recycling as asset
Experience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an asset
Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
Customer Service experience in a retail preferred
Ability to work as a team
Excellent attendance and safety record.
