Lead and inspire at Open Studio as the Executive Director, an in office role in downtown Toronto. Shape the future of printmaking and support local artists through operational and strategic leadership.
As the Executive Director, you will manage finances, administration, and staff for Toronto's only artist-run printmaking center. Leveraging your arts sector expertise, you'll build community relationships and oversee strategic initiatives. This position demands a blend of leadership and visionary thinking to enhance accessibility and sustainability in the printmaking field.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a small team for programming and operations
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and evaluation
Maintain robust community and membership relationships
Act as spokesperson within national and international arts communities
Implement and evaluate the strategic plan in collaboration with the Board
Requirements:
Minimum five years in artist-run centers/nonprofits
Solid financial management experience
Proven track record in fundraising
Commitment to equity and inclusion practices
Effective non-profit governance experience
