Agilus by Synergie is seeking an Accounting Analyst in North York, Ontario. This hybrid role will focus on compliance, complex accounting analyses, and support until July 2027.
As an Accounting Analyst, you are expected to have a CPA designation alongside four or more years of experience. Your responsibilities include addressing accounting issues, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Collaboration with auditors and implementation of process improvements are critical in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve complex accounting issues through research
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing procedures
• Analyze contracts for relevant accounting implications
• Document and maintain SOX compliant internal controls
• Communicate financial impacts to stakeholders
Requirements:
• CPA with 4+ years in accounting roles
• Proficient in US GAAP and technical accounting
• Solid analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion SmartView
