Transform lives at CAMH as a Bilingual Social Worker specializing in mental health. This full time position focuses on culturally competent care for Black youth through assessment and therapy services.
As part of the Child, Youth, and Emerging Adult Program at CAMH, the Social Worker will provide crucial support to Francophone Black youth aged 12-24 facing addiction and mental health challenges. Your role will involve collaboration with families, professional consultation, and community program development. You will deliver interventions in both English and French, ensuring client-centered care and addressing the social determinants of health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and manage cases for youth clients
• Offer individual and group therapy sessions in French and English
• Collaborate with stakeholders on complex cases
• Support program development and clinical evaluation
• Provide supervision to Master’s level social work students
Requirements:
• Bilingual in English and French
• Experience in mental health and addiction treatments
• Knowledge of community resources for Francophone youth
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence
• Willingness to work evenings and in community settings
