The City of Cranbrook is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Engineering Services to support development projects in the East Kootenays. Ideal candidates will have at least three years in local government settings, focusing on civil infrastructure design and project management. Engage in managing complex developments, subdivision reviews, and permit issuance while liaising with internal and external stakeholders for effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead infrastructure project management and master plan updates
• Conduct engineering design reviews and site inspections
• Oversee subdivision and development application approvals
• Draft bylaws, agreements, and engineering policies
• Prepare reports for senior management and council
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma; Civil Engineering Technology diploma preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Minimum three years local government experience
• Registered as an EIT, P. Eng, or Civil Tech
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
