SEO/GEO Specialist

About the Role We are looking for an SEO/GEO Specialist who can lead organic search strategy and local search optimization for a wide range of clients, including multi-location brands and franchises. You’ll be responsible for developing technical SEO plans, on‑page optimization, content recommendations, and GEO/location‑based strategies that drive visibility, rankings, and qualified traffic.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis
Develop on‑page optimization strategies (metadata, content structure, internal linking)
Lead technical SEO improvements (site speed, indexing, schema, crawlability)
Own local SEO/GEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization
Build and manage ongoing tracking dashboards and reporting
Collaborate with content and creative teams on SEO‑driven content planning
Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly
Provide explicit insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience




3–5+ years hands‑on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
Solid understanding of technical SEO, local search, and multi‑location optimization
Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Moz
Experience building keyword strategies and content frameworks
Ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable changes

Nice to Have
Experience in franchise marketing or multi-location SEO at scale
Familiarity with schema markup and structured data
Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot CMS

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000
