We are looking for a Territory Manager to join our sales team in Dartmouth.
Duties and Responsibilities Nors Territory Manager (TM) promotes, sell and rents Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE), Sennebogen Material handlers as well as various allied attachment distributor products with the intention of increasing the sales revenues and market shares of Nors.
NS Geographic Territory includes, Annapolis, Digby, Hants, Kings, Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne, Yarmouth counties, Halifax Co. (Shared)
Identify and cultivate existing and new relationships with potential customers through site visits and cold calls.
Provide management with weekly, monthly sales and opportunity related forecasts on a timely basis within their respective territory.
Gathering trade appraisal information to ensure proper evaluation of customer trade-ins based on market conditions and resale value.
Preparing initial costing sheets related to new opportunities to ensure proper/accurate pricing based on customer needs, inventory levels, equipment availability, in comparison to found market information related to competitor pricing.
Facilitate the accurate smooth completion of sales/deals as liaison with customer.
Assist with tenders, RFQs/RFPs to ensure customer needs are met with respect to their required equipment and their service/parts needs.
Update client information in CRM to ensure smooth communication between the customer all departments within the company.
Follow up on shipments to customers (sales/deliveries) to make sure equipment are received complete and in a timely manner.
Maintain and develop new relationships with clients for future sales and services
Core Competencies Strong leadership skills coupled with comprehensive experience with Microsoft suit and CRM platform.
Ability to plan, schedule and implement time management.
The sale of Volvo (VCE) and Sennebogen and or the sale of product premium products.
Observant and analytical
Assertive and accountable
Strong negotiation skills
Active on social networks
Education/ Training Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience in sales;
Finance/lease training;
Attendance and completion of product training.
