Reporting to the Director of Care, the Ward Clerk plays a crucial role in managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the home. Key responsibilities include handling incoming calls, maintaining resident records, and preparing nursing schedules while supporting overall resident well-being. This position is ideal for those with solid organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming telephone lines and relay messages
• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
• Assist with resident information on lab requisitions
• Maintain and organize resident records and files
• Prepare and update nursing schedules under the direction of the DOC
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide certificate preferred
• Robust customer service and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
