Make a difference in children’s lives as a Registered Nurse with Whānau Āwhina Plunket. These permanent roles in Rototuna and Hamilton Central focus on community health through home visits and clinic support.
Join our dedicated team at Whānau Āwhina Plunket for two community-based positions, working 0.8 FTE or 0.9 FTE across four to four and a half days weekly. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide holistic care to whānau while assessing tamariki's growth. Ideal candidates are resilient and resourceful, enjoying the challenge of diverse home visits while supporting caregivers with parenting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess health and development of babies and children
• Conduct home visits and provide clinic support




• Foster trusting relationships with whānau
• Deliver culturally appropriate and personalized care
• Collaborate with a motivated healthcare team
Requirements:
• Be a Registered Nurse with an Annual Practicing Certificate
• Full clean NZ Drivers Licence required
• Willingness to complete Post Graduate Certificate
• Resourceful with solid decision-making skills
• Enjoy working with children and families
