Shifts Available: Monday - Friday

- Early Day Shift: 3:00am-11:30am

The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, secure, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.

Position Responsibilities:

- Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
- Identification of OS&D; freight.
- Completion of necessary documentation with care.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.

Position Qualifications:





- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Cross dock experience is considered an asset.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment.
- Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
