The Opportunity

Horizon CPA is a mid-size professional accounting firm located in downtown Vancouver. We provide hands-on accounting, tax compliance, advisory and financial planning services to entrepreneurs, professional corporations and other privately-owned entities.

We are looking for experienced and/or senior accountants who are currently completing or about to complete the CPA program to join our team.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
Preparing/reviewing T1s, T4s, T5s, T3s, and GST/PST returns

Preparing/reviewing compilation and review engagements

Assisting with corporate tax planning and other tax-related tasks

Building positive working relationships with clients and responding to enquiries

Assisting with the training and development of junior team members

Future Development

As you gain more experience, you will be assigned to more challenging and complex jobs, developing your technical tax knowledge and other enabling competencies required for the CPA designation.
