Looking for a reliable and experienced building cleaner to join our team. Position is full time with day split between 2 buildings located in Ottawa approximately Tunney's Pasture area. Candidate would be required to be available Monday to Friday with a versatile starting time between 7:30-8:30am . Position is 7.5 hours daily. The right candidate would be able to travel the 2.5 km's between building locations on a regular schedule by own vehicle or public transportation. Preference will be given to someone who has their own transportation as this could also lead to growth and advancement with the company.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and is able to manage their time efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Communication skills is a vital asset as there will be constant communication with management regarding tasks that come up outside the daily set routine. Typical cleaning tasks would entail but not limited to; disinfecting, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning (inside only), emptying garbages, cleaning laundry room etc. Position starts at $18.50 with potential for wage increases if a candidate proves that he is willing to be committed to the company.

Duties would Include but are not limited to:

- vacuuming
- mopping




- operation of walk-behind floor machine
- cleaning & maintaining garbage rooms & recycling
- entrance window cleaning
- dusting
- general cleaning of building common areas
- ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and to a high standard
- communication with supervisor throughout day

The right Ottawa Clean Team candidate would have:

* Professional cleaning experience with references and attention to detail

* Excellent time management and organizational skills

* Physically capable of performing duties required (rotation of heavy garbage bins)

* Willing to work both independently and with a team

* WHMIS certificate

*Reliable, Punctual and committed to their work

*Must own and have a cell phone for communication periodically throughout day
