PCILCPVA has an exciting job opportunity for you. We are currently seeking PSW to fill roles in our Assisted Living Program. We have vacancies all over Ottawa that are calling your name. If the below Criteria sounds like you we want to hear from you.

Here is what we are looking for:

Knowledge required:

· Toileting, feeding and personal grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping

* IADS and ADLS

· Infection control guidelines

· Transfer and positioning techniques of clients

· Rehabilitation and palliative approaches

Competencies & Skills required:

- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Up to date certification in emergency First Aid and CPR
- Experience with all aspects of physical care and homemaking
- Follow client care plan and carry out activities as directed
- Transfer and positioning techniques

Other essential requirements:





- Access to a car for work and valid insurance and license
- PSW or equivalent certificate
- Recent Police Records Check
- COVID-19 Vaccinations

* Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
