The wage range for this role is between $28.30 - $33.96/hr.

Your tasks at a glance
- You are the person who works closely with the ophthalmologist; you anticipate their actions while following protocols.
- You reassure patients before and after their procedure and ensure they feel at ease showing empathy.
- You like working in a team and know by heart the actions to take to coordinate each intervention.
- You will become a specialist of the tools and technologies used during intraocular procedures.
- You are comfortable working on your feet in the operating room.
- You are a stickler for details and work with precision and accuracy.
A clear view of your assets
- You are a Registered Practical Nurse registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (required).
- Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.
- You are meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient and focused, no detail can escape you.
- You have the ability to relate to others and quickly establish a climate of trust.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and when working in a team.
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- Required: You can travel for training/work to other clinics in the GTA region.
- Schedule: You have flexible availability Monday through Friday, shifts typically vary between 7:00am - 5:00pm (based on the surgical schedule), with rotational Saturdays.
