We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Oakville. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Location Requirement
This position is based in Oakville, ON. To ensure a reasonable commute and reliable attendance, preference will be given to candidates who live in Burlington, Oakville, or Mississauga. Applicants who are beyond Hamilton or Mississauga will not be contacted.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality.
- Label and stage completed orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse.
- Restock inventory and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or order picking mandatory
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending,
and lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset (if applicable).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends as required)
- Day, afternoon, or night shifts available
- Overtime may be available during peak periods
