Responsibilities include but not limited to: Every aspect of building from foundations up to roof systems. We recognize that some companies specialize in one area of the build however, we like to ensure our team has the capability to compete the entire task, if need be. Reading/interpreting blueprints and drawings, measuring cutting and installing all varieties of building materials and finishes at a quality above the minimum standard.

Key Qualities for Candidates

- Minimum 5 years experience.




- Come to work prepared for working conditions including being prepared for our varying weather. Work outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
- Must carry a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Able to work safely at heights using ladders, and scaffolding.
- Ability to work according to safe work practices.
- Understands and capable of using most power tools used on construction sites. Learn and use the proper maintenance to keep tools running and recognize the correct tool for the job. Use proper blade for job, etc.
- Must have their own basic carpentry tools.
- Willing to learn, follow instructions and takes initiative.
- Able to work alone and/or within a team, under Project Manager.
- Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently within your crew.
- Courteous and respectful to the client and working environment.
- Maintain a high quality of workmanship with attention to detail and productivity .
- Have knowledge of Building codes for the Seguin/Muskoka area.
