Management at Irwin’s Safety & Industrial Labour has extensive experience in power generation and large industrial projects, specializing in confined space, first aid, safety consulting/coordination and rescue services.

Role Description

We are currently looking for a local, experienced Rescue Technician to join Irwin's to assist with both local and non-local projects. This role will include working as a Confined Space and High Angel Rescue Technician.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Valid Rope and Confined Space Rescue ticket – Trained to a minimum of NFPA 1006 Operations level
- Minimum 2 years rescue experience (5 years preferred)
- IRATA rope access certification would be considered an asset




- Experience in industrial related safety positions, particularly confined space knowledge
- Valid Confined space attendant ticket is preferred but training can be provided
- Experience with gas detectors is preferred
- NCSO and valid First Aid ticket are preferred
- Basic computer skills are a must have
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (including THC)

Job Types: Casual

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
