Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages, including those with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, strong caregiving skills, and experience working in early childhood settings. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while developing professional skills in caregiving and early childhood education.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support children with special needs, including those with disabilities, by providing personalized care and assistance
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Foster positive social interactions among children to promote teamwork and emotional development




- Adhere to all safety protocols and licensing requirements

Qualifications

- Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs, is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
- Ability to teach basic skills and facilitate developmental activities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of safety standards related to childcare environments
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory at the time of hiring; training will be provided if necessary

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
