Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires Independent Contractors for our LCV Fleet domiciled in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba.

This position is Open Dispatch, running 10 days on and up to 4 days off. This position offers consistent runs between our terminals in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba!

Responsibilities

- Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
- Handle freight and freight documents
- Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Professional communication with customers
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety
- Perform all other duties as requested
- DUTIES WILL VARY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION

- Compensation: Earn up to $2.45/mile

Qualifications

- Class 1A driver’s license

Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience

Must own your own truck (5 years or newer)

LCV experience

Ability to drive in all terrains

Experience with heaters and reefers

Qualified appearance and good hygiene

Safe driving record verified by a current drivers abstract

Ability to perform all duties without restriction
