Dental Assistant (RDA)

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our fast-paced, modern dental studio. This role is essential to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of the clinic.

The ideal candidate is confident clinically, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment where efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail matter.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including examinations, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and dental surgery
- Set up, flip, and prepare treatment rooms immediately between patients
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic clinical environment
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Support CEREC same-day crowns, cosmetic procedures, nightguards, splints, and related workflows
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment processes, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software
- Assist with ordering dental supplies and inventory management
- Support scheduling, patient flow,



and efficient chair utilization
- Collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative team to deliver a high-quality patient experience

Qualifications

- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Alberta – required
- Previous dental assisting experience – required
- Strong experience in:
- Dental surgery
- Fast-paced clinical environments
- CEREC / same-day crowns
- Cosmetic dentistry
- Efficient room turnover
- Prep for Botox
- Experience with dental software (Curve experience is a robust asset)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM workflows is an asset
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
