True North Positioning provides measuring services for multiple trades in the construction industry. Services include construction layout and as-builts, 3D modeling and scanning, earthwork volume calculations and consulting services.
Job description
We are currently hiring Junior and Senior Construction Survey/Field Engineering Team Members for the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities include:
· Review construction drawings including architectural, structural, and shop drawings for errors and discrepancies.
· Manage RFI’s, SI’s, and change orders
· Leverage survey equipment and software including Robotic Total Stations, 3D Scanners and GNSS to perform construction layout on various types of structures.
Essential Qualifications:
· Has 3+ years of survey experience in a construction environment
· Is experienced with survey equipment including Robotic Total Stations and GPS
· Possesses a strong knowledge of blueprint reading,
· Comfortable working in the construction field
· Has solid written and verbal communication skills
A knowledge of BIM, Scanners and Auto Desk software is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
