Rooster Kitchen is looking for experienced, dependable bartender/servers to join our front-of-house team. We are seeking friendly, confident people who provide attentive service, communicate well, and enjoy working in a lively neighbourhood restaurant.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, efficient table service
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Use the TouchBistro POS system
- Serve food, beer, wine and cocktails responsibly
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff
- Process payments accurately
- Assist with opening, closing and side duties
- Help create a welcoming experience for regulars, performers and new guests

What We’re Looking For

- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or pub
- Robust customer-service and communication skills
- Ability to manage several tables during busy service
- Reliable attendance and a positive, professional attitude




- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Evening and weekend availability
- ProServe certification, or willingness to obtain it before beginning alcohol-service shifts
- Experience with TouchBistro is an asset

Availability

Applicants must be available for a combination of:

- Evening shifts
- Friday and Saturday shifts
- Weekend daytime or evening shifts
- Occasional holidays and special events

Compensation

- $15.00 per hour

- Opportunities for additional shifts as the restaurant expands its evening and event programming
