House of Dawn is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and basic kitchen duties
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations




- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing dishwashing responsibilities
- Restock supplies such as clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health codes

Skills

- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes is advantageous
- Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
