Archdesign Cabinetry is looking for a motivated Cabinet Installer Trainee to join our growing team. If you’re dependable, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a career in a skilled trade, we’d love to meet you.

No cabinet installation experience is required. We’re looking for the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We’ll provide the training.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside experienced installers, learning the trade from the ground up. You’ll start by assisting with installations, preparing job sites, transporting materials, and learning the fundamentals. As your skills and confidence grow, you’ll gradually take on more responsibility with the goal of becoming a skilled Cabinet Installer.

Every day is different. You’ll work on custom residential homes and commercial projects throughout the East Kootenay, creating quality cabinetry you can be proud of.

Responsibilities

- Assist experienced installers on residential and commercial projects
- Travel to job sites throughout the East Kootenay region
- Load, unload, and transport cabinetry and materials
- Prepare job sites for installation
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Learn installation techniques, measuring, adjustments, and finishing details
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and protected work environment

Qualifications

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Enjoys hands-on, physical work
- Able to safely lift and carry materials
- Works well as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Construction, woodworking, or trades experience is an asset but not required

This position begins with a 3-month probationary period to ensure it’s the right fit for both you and our team.
