Reporting to the Surface Operations Supervisor or designate, the Electrician is responsible for working as part of the team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical related equipment in the Mill, Water Treatment Plant and underground.

The Electrician is committed to embedding and fostering Cambria's health and safety culture of No Harm while ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.

This is a FIFO position on a 14 day on/14 day off schedule.

Key Job Functions

- Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
- Read and interpret drawing, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
- Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems and components using test equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Work on other electrical projects as required.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications.
- Working from ladders, scaffolding and lifts at heights up to 100 ft.




- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Class 5 drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $51.00 per hour
