A to Z Tutoring is looking for passionate, reliable, and experienced tutors to help students reach their academic potential. Since 2015, we've proudly connected hundreds of students with exceptional tutors through personalized, one-on-one instruction. For over 10 years, we've built a reputation for high-quality tutoring and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on creating long-lasting relationships with both our tutors and families.

We carefully match tutors with students based on each student's learning needs and each tutor's qualifications, creating the best possible learning experience for everyone.

Current Tutoring Opportunities:

We're currently hiring tutors for the 2026/2027 school year:

- Grades 1–12 English
- Grades 1–12 French
- Grades 1–12 Math
- High School Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)

Location: In-person tutoring in Mississauga and Oakville

About the Position:

Our tutors provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring in the comfort of each student's home.

Before tutoring begins, we conduct an initial meeting with each family to ensure the tutoring environment is appropriate and comfortable for everyone involved. The safety of both our tutors and students is a top priority.

Tutoring sessions are typically scheduled on evenings after school and weekends.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal tutor is:

- Passionate about helping students succeed
- Punctual, dependable and professional
- Friendly with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with students and families
- Committed to maintaining a consistent tutoring schedule for at least one school term

Requirements:





- Minimum of 2 years of tutoring experience
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Availability after school and/or on weekends
- Ability to provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check

Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging, one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to each student's learning needs
- Prepare and assign additional practice to reinforce concepts taught during tutoring sessions
- Create a positive, encouraging and supportive learning workplace
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress
- Help students build confidence, strengthen their academic skills and achieve their goals

Job Details:

Position: Part-Time, Contract

Pay: $28–$30 per hour for in-person tutoring, $20-$22 per hour for online tutoring
