About the Role

We are looking for a creative and reliable Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to help grow two local brands:

- A busy Ottawa real estate business
- A specialty café

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through social media, creating engaging short-form videos, photography, and graphic design. You'll be responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing content that reflects each brand's unique personality.

Responsibilities

- Create engaging Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn content.
- Capture photos and videos on-site at the café, listings, open houses, community events, and local businesses.
- Edit Reels, Stories, and short-form videos.
- Design social media graphics, carousels, and promotional materials.
- Write captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
- Maintain a monthly content calendar.
- Monitor basic engagement and respond to comments/messages when required.
- Stay current with social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Coordinate with the owner to ensure content aligns with marketing goals.

Qualifications

- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.




- Strong photography and videography skills using a smartphone or camera.
- Experience editing short-form videos.
- Excellent written English.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in both café and real estate environments.
- Access to reliable transportation within Ottawa is an asset.
