As a senior member of the branch sales team, your primary responsibilities are to understand the financial needs of our Members and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations to fit those needs, including large or more complex credit and investment advice. You will also be responsible for meeting and exceeding specific individual and team‑based business goals and for managing Member portfolios to build genuine relationships.What you’ll do:Member ExperienceUnderstand how Meridian’s products and services can add value to our MembersProvide investment advice by identifying and promoting solutions that meet Member needsProvide recommendations on credit products based on accurate and appropriate credit interviewing and underwriting skillsEngage in revenue‑generation and sales‑based activities to achieve performance objectives; build external centres of influence to optimise sales and service resultsUse provided tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all Members to deepen relationships and provide flawless service experiencesEmbrace virtual technology platforms and use them to host meetings and engage in impactful communication with MembersMaintain discretion and confidentiality to respect Member privacyEmployee ExperienceAct as an engaged teammate and trusted partner to build and cultivate internal relationships within the Member Experience teams and cross‑functional departments, while ensuring achievement of Retail Experience goalsDemonstrate empathy with colleagues by communicating thoughts and ideas openly while promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging towards others in the workplaceContinue individual learning and development to align with Meridian values while delivering on action plans aligned with Employee Engagement resultsActively participate and support the leadership team in the planning process, assisting with implementation and providing feedbackStep in as a leader while the Branch Manager is away, and continuously act as a role model on the teamCommunity ExperiencePromote Meridian Credit Union in your community by participating in and being involved in community activities or events while demonstrating the Company ValuesSupport local community organisations and activities through Business Development and Valuable Neighbour Program, planning, preparing and delivering Meridian‑hosted Community eventsWhat you can bring to Meridian:Recent University graduates with a 4‑year degree in Business or EconomicsStrong business and financial industry knowledge, with a desire for career growth within the financial services industryAt minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most rolesFlexible to work all scheduled hours which include some evenings and SaturdaysProven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and OutlookStrong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including coaching and leadership skillsEffective organisational time management and problem‑solving skillsComfort learning and adopting new digital tools, with an openness to using AI‑enabled technology to enhance productivity, accuracy,
