In full expansion, Collège Milestone is looking for qualified instructors to deliver the DEP, Computer Support program during the week-end and at night in the week.

Responsibilities

- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials according to the academic requirements of the Collège Milestone
- Prepare, administer and grade exams and assignments to assess student progress
- Encourage active participation from the students, in classrooms and online
- Manage students' different levels of ability and learning
- Maintain order and discipline during the course while promoting safety and respect for the rules and directives of the Collège Milestone
- Actively participate in staff, group or other meetings related to the academic program, organization and administration of the College
- Apply and respect the policies of the Collège Milestone
- Ensure the health and safety of students under its responsibility




- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social issues and on their continuing education and careers
- Accurately report students grades and attendance in COBA
- Any other tasks delegated by the supervisor

Requirements

- Hold a DEC, a college or university degree in the discipline of computer science or the equivalent
- Have at least 2 years of experience in the field
- Master the Microsoft Suite including WORD and EXCEL
- Master the computer tools of the program
- Knowledge of COBA software is an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
