WINMAR® Kingston is expanding and looking for an energetic and self-motivated general carpenter to join our team. This position is full-time and offers a strong compensation package based on experience and expertise. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with a minimum of 5 years of quality carpentry experience.
Responsibilities and Performance Expectations include:
- Strong understanding of finishing carpentry techniques such as; Drywall hanging, taping and mudding; Flooring, trim, door and cabinet installation; Insulation and vapour barrier installation; Painting of trim and walls; ; etc.
- Proficient in the use of power and manual tools as well as measurement devices.
- Can complete work with a high level of accuracy and efficiently.
- Is able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Accurately measurements and calculates the size and amount of material needed.
- Cuts, shapes and finishes lumber and other materials according to measurements.
- Must work well in team setting and be flexible to changing requirements.
- Must have a good work ethic
- Manages time efficiently and work independently
- Posses’ and maintains a clean drivers’ license
- Clean criminal records check

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
