Objective: To assist in the examination, inspection, calibration and/or diagnosis of all tools, components, systems, parts and materials per engineering/drawing/specifications; may require certification by customer requirements.
Work to be performed:
The following reflects the principal duties and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements, nor does it imply that all workers in this category perform all of these functions.
1. Create inspection media by use of 2D/3D modeling.
2. Design and trouble shoot tooling.
3. Provide technical support to machining/tryout/build throughout the tooling manufacturing process.
4. Maintaining documentation records of complete tool design.
5. Interact with customers/ staff regarding design reviews.
6. Design tooling and production plans/processes in collaboration with other departments to develop current products and processes.
7. Continuous improvement of existing tooling and processes.
8.
Work alongside Sr. Programmer and report to assistant manager of fabrication or deligate.
9. Assist in programming/operating CMM as required.
10. May perform other related duties as required by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
