Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of salesperson. Being a bait/hunting shop experience in both categories is an asset. This position does require that you have a PAL before applying. If you have a passion for the outdoors this job is for you!

Duties

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Perform upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with customers and team members
- Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during shifts




- Uphold qualified phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales, technical sales, or related customer service roles preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising, cashiering, and POS systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- PAL is required for this position
