Industrial Electrician (442A) | Continental Nights | $45.56/hr + Premium + Bonus

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer serving the construction and infrastructure industry. This is an opportunity to join a well established maintenance team where you'll play a key role in maximizing equipment reliability, improving plant performance, and supporting continuous production.

What You'll Do

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and plant utilities.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical drawings.
- Install, modify, and wire electrical panels, conduit, bussways, communication cables, and related equipment.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production changeovers.
- Work with PLC controlled equipment and assist with troubleshooting automation systems.
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance activities using a CMMS.
- Generate parts requests and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Collaborate with fellow tradespeople, contractors, and production teams to complete maintenance projects safely and efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.

What We're Looking For

- 442A Industrial Electrician Licence (Mandatory)
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical controls, motors, sensors, drives, and industrial automation.




- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
- Experience working with CMMS maintenance systems.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in extrusion, plastics, pipe manufacturing, or other continuous process manufacturing environments is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems.
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends when operationally required.
